Our client based in the north west was planning an office move to Leigh on the outskirts of Manchester. The client has office, warehouse and workshop space and needed to have their IT systems throughout the new site.
We had a number of planning meetings with them, and visited the new site to put together a detailed plan of action.
Well before the moving date we liaised with the local broadband suppliers to purchase the fastest speed network for the area, and worked with them to ensure the new connections were in place and working a week before the moving date.
Our cabling engineers were on site to put in the network infrasture, identifying the best location for the network hardware, installing the server cabinets and adding wifi access points throughout the site.
On the evening before the move, all of the data was backed up and our team packed the servers and network hardware. On the move day, our team arrived on site early to set up the servers, ensure all of the network was working correctly and everyone was able to work.
